"Hangar" is a new agency whose purpose is to carry out missions
even too sensitive for the police or intelligence services. In this
film, the agency must eliminate a German female terrorist by the name of
Birgitt Haas. The murder is to be disguised as a crime of passion, so
an agent must lure Birgitt into falling in love.

The character of poor Birgitt (beer-gyeet) is possibly based on real-life R.A.F. member Astrid Proll, who had been found living in England a couple years before this film. Given the German gov't at the time, the State's plans for Birgitt's execution are more believable than her relationship with fall guy Bauman, but the movie's premise overall makes for compelling viewing.
…Of peripheral interest to students of the time period. Inadequate vocal dubbing mars much of Lisa Kreuzer's performance.
